what was travel nursing like before covid what type of money was out there. just curious if it still is worth it after covid is gone. I assume u still make more than a staff nurse?

Think of travel nursing as similar to per diem staff in the hospital, more per hour, but no benefits. Handy if you need to raise cash for family or house, but little difference in the long run between travel and staff. Unless you live in the South, then there is seldom little room for debate: travel pays more than working staff in much of the South.
Bottom line, don't do it unless the lifestyle appeals to you.
