How do you study? I read the chapter before class, then when there was lecture, I highlighted whatever the instructor went over. Tutoring also helps too.

pen to paper works best for me. i write it over and over until my brain remembers the way it works, my last a&p mark was a 95. i also use you tube a lot. what are you working on for a&p right now? sorry i'm one hand typing = no capitals

I'm visual, so I like to draw the structures and write what they are beside it...this helped a lot with the anatomy part. For physiology, if it was circulation (for example), I would draw the heart and trace over the picture with my finger as I said to myself the direction of blood flow...you don't have to draw either, you can just use pics in your textbook.
Join a study group, I learn more when my peers teach me and I teach them. Best of luck :)

Hello, I am sorry to hear about your grades. What I found works best for me is recording the lectures and then listening to them as I drive, clean, cook, work out, etc. While I am listening I answer when the teacher asks questions as though I am in class. This worked GREAT for me. I went from making C's to A's and it works in ALL subjects except math. Please keep me/us posted!!!!

I found studying with someone else helped a lot...my best friend in class and I would bounce info off of each other. Then during the tests I would hear her voice in my head saying the answer :) sounds weird I know lol but hey whatever works. And hey in my program we had to have an 81 or above in everything! Talk about stressful.

Another good place on the internet is Kahn Academy for A&P. it's wonderful. They talk about different functions of systems and draw pictures while doing it. Great stuff. It has other sciences and such on there too. It helped understand lots of stuff like kidney filtration and pathway of digestion.
