hi phyllon, the first step is to get a schedule for the qualifying exam. All you need to do is go to NETB center, it's near the OPD and the Chapel and fill in the master list which has the dates for the examination. You can be on your casual attire when you register for the exam.

hi mikeru22. thanks for the reply. I thought nobody would answer my "redundant" questions. LOL I must admit i was just too lazy to browse the previous pages although i knew i could find answers there. ;P Anyway, yours is detailed though. again, a big THANKS to you! ;)

LOL no problem. Keep us posted about the registration aight? I'm thinking of taking the qualifying test again. :D

do they allow rn residents to be rotated in the OR? TIA.

hi, do they still accept new applicants this year? I'm planning to go there this Wednesday. Should I call first or should I go there directly? What time the office is open? Thanks for the reply :)

You can go there directly. The NETB office is open on weekdays during regular business hours but be there before 3pm just to be sure. I'm not really sure if they are already accepting applicants for the next internship program but the last one this year started in August. I registered for the initial exam for the August internship program last May this year.

The posts in this thread are very helpful. I will be taking my exam this november 9 goodluck to all of us who will take the exam and I hope we pass :)

@maco1224: yes, rn residents can be assigned at OR (in our batch, 4 rn residents were assigned in OR for 6 months- lucky for them hehe)

I'm planning to enter Nurse Corps. I'll be visiting OTCN next week. I actually took the test and interview last 2007 and was scheduled for training but while waiting i was hired at a company so i did not pursue. And I have long hair so yeah I put my vain fist before employment. LOL. Worked in Saudi for a year and was planning to go back but because of some problems I now have 1 year experience gap. :crying2: So now because of this gap I'm having a hard time getting hired for Saudi. Damn! Well, I can't seem to find employment here. I can do volunteer as long as it says Staff Nurse or even Substitute, Casual, Relief as long as not volunteer but oh well, can't find one. Anyways, I've been really wanting to be a Military Nurse ever since. My dad is a retired soldier but I don't think it'll help me get hired at VLuna. And I don't want to be hired because of backers etc. Anyhow, I hope it goes well. Anyone know when the next training will be, the one for Nurse Corps? tia

Any tips for the written exam for the RN Residency program? Is it based on NLE or NCLEX? I have no idea what to study or what topics I have to focus on. They said it's really hard. Any sugestions? My schedule will be on November 16

hi... i would just like to ask if the applicants would be the one to choose his/her schedule for the exam?? I'm planning to go there for the registration next week but i'm having a second thought because i would be having my ivt training on nov. 19-21,,and im thinking that my "will-be-schedule" for the exam and ivt training sched won't meet....

thanks in advance! ;)
