AFP medical center RN residency

hi. does anyone here have tried applying in afp medical center for rn residency this is a six months training. i just want to ask if they have physical requirement to those aspiring applicant? what if you are wearing eyeglasses can you still apply? because as what i've read on the other post they prefer those who are not wearing eyeglasses.

I feel utterly exhausted, it was my first day at work after my four days off...I wish I could wake up later and read my Udan book for at least 3 hours. :sniff:

is it V.luna medical center? A friend of mine is now a trainee there. But she told me she won't be absorbed bec she doesn't have any backer. But at least she can get a certificate for employment not for being a volunteer nurse but as a staff nurse. You have to focus more on Medsurg, 100 items multiple choice. i think she was asked during interview to enumerate the 10 rights of drug admin. she was also asked something about IV therapy and drug computation of an antibiotic.

Really? they are giving out COE as staff nurses? That's cool!

if were to take the exam on the month of june, how many months will it take for them to release the results?

The nurse residency program will start in August, the result could be available shortly after the exam.

hi..just wanna ask what type of calculator should i bring? is it ok to bring scientific calculator?

the schedule of my exam is on may 30 1pm..anybody have the same schedule? goodluck to us! ^_^

You can definitely use that, I just took the exam 4 hours ago, whew I think I just had a severe CSF depletion because of that bloody exam wahaha...the result will be posted on July 14. Good luck to us fellow nurses. :nurse:

---Yes it was :D I think the proctor said they'll get get 98 RNs from the total number of examinees if I'm not mistaken.

I think so, as far as I know the examination lasts for 3 months starting last month.
