hi. does anyone here have tried applying in afp medical center for rn residency this is a six months training. i just want to ask if they have physical requirement to those aspiring applicant? what if you are wearing eyeglasses can you still apply? because as what i've read on the other post they prefer those who are not wearing eyeglasses.

Hi guys, I just wanna ask regarding with the height requirement for NC, is there a chance to be given a qualifying exam if your height did not meet the minimum height requirement for NC? Cos I'm interested to join the NC but the problem is my height is just 4'11, and somebody advised me to secure a height waiver, does it really exist?

Please I need to know if it is true, hoping for your reply, tnx and God Bless..

Hi Jeff: In regard to your query; I went to AFP yesterday and had my query about what are the requirements that needs to be prepared,so they told me that we need to take first the qualifying exam and if you passed the exam that's the time that you need to submit the requirements. I wasn't able to asked about the requirements since my purpose why I was there is to know when would be the next qualifying exam. We could go directly to their office this first week of May for the exam scheduling..

That would be all!!

THe next batch of rn residency will start on aug2011. Examinations will be held 2-3mos before that..

is the rn residency, new hires, new hire volunteer nurses are just the same for afpmed? im just a little bit confused.. thanks!

RN residency is the program for those who wants to volunteer at AFPMC. there is a separate qualifying exam for those who are applying as staff nurse. basically, if you want to apply as staff, you go directly to the HR of AFPMC. whereas if you want to be a part of RN residency, you go to the NETB.

do they accept resumes when you are applying for a staff position..

last time i went there they wont accept my resume because they told me the hospital is on freeze hire

the results of qualifying exam for feb batch was moved to january 18, 2011 (tuesday). The office already have the results but they are still not authorized to post it as of yesterday because the paper doesn't have the signature of the chief nurse yet.
