I haven't priced programs to compare, so I can't say if it's affordable compared to other programs, but Frontier (http://www.midwives.org) offers a post-Master's certificate in FNP. It would be about $20K.

Thank you Klone. I am hoping others would post here as well. For a post-masters Frontier's 20K is kind of pricey... but thanks for sharing
What state are you in?
There are a few in my state that offer almost entirely online classes, even though it doesn't say that on their website. For some of them, you just have to show up like once a month or less for seminars or whatnot until you do your clinicals, which you can more or less do locally. Makes it a lot easier and more affordable to go to school. I would call the admissions office of the schools you are interested in and see if they offer online classes.

Thanks I don't mind travelling, but it must be online and affordable. What is the cost please of the ones you are referring to, and their names please. Thanks

Hi everyone,
With this growing recession and hikes in college fees, I am interested in an AFFORDABLE online FNP program. Preferably one that charges in-state tuition for out-of-state applicants. Are you in one and is it affordable? Or do you know of one that is affordable please?
Thanks
