Hi everyone! First post on allnurses.
Because of financial restraints and other reasons I'm unable to purchase the ATI book or any new study books for the time being. I do have old SAT prep books around and I was wondering--would studying the SAT reading/grammar/math sections be helpful or similar to the questions in the TEAS/HESI?
I know that there's a science section so I do plan on buying the ATI TEAS book eventually since there's no books available at the library for the TEAs and SAT books are all I have to work with right now. My school's pre-nursing program is a bit different and does Anatomy and Physiology as separate classes instead of A&P I and II. I took Anatomy last sem so I could wait until I'm done with Physiology before taking the TEAS...but it seems like a lot of people are taking it over the summer. Should I aim to take it over the summer too or wait until all my prereqs are done? I'm taking 17 credits next semester. Is it possible to study for the TEAS/HESI and still keep a good gpa?
I'm an incoming sophomore applying to trad BSN programs btw. Any advice on this is very very appreciated!!
Thanks for the help! :)
