Congratulations on taking steps toward the aesthetic industry! To be completely honest, I would NOT waste money in taking aesthetic courses such as for Botox or dermal filler certification. I spent around $1500 at Empire Medical Training and did not acquire the necessary skills to practice Botox or dermal fillers in a clinical setting. Luckily, I now work at a medical spa where I get hands on experience administering Botox and dermal fillers. I recommend applying to practices that embrace RNs new to the aesthetic industry and are willing to train RNs on cosmetic procedures. I know it's rare but it's possible!
