Hello everyone,
I am a second semester nursing student and I am doing a huge paper on acute pain. I need some suggestions for this part of the paper:
Aesthetic Experience that Captures the Phenomenon:
("story"/poem/music/picture). Attach the aesthetic experience and make it clear in
writing how this captures the defining characteristics of your phenomenon. Also
explain how this reflects your client's experience of the phenomenon.
does anyone know a good poem/song/picture that describes acute pain? i would prefer a painting/photo/visual
thanks!

I have seen art work by children where they have expressed there pain in art form. I just saw one in a pain ceu course I took from western. Can you locate one of these, preferably in color or find a child that has experienced acute pain draw one for you.

Frida Kahlo is someone that comes to mind right away. It seems like a great deal of her work was related to or influenced by the pain and illness that she experienced in her own life.
