I am in need of advice from anyone that could give me some good advice. Increasingly I have been feeling more and more like I need to leave bedside nursing. At times I have literally cried my eyes out and I feel that bedside nursing is not for me anymore. I would really love anyone that could assist me with choosing a different path in my life because I know that is what I need to do. I spoke with a counselor at Perdue College and they suggested hospital administration or healthcare administration. I’m unsure if that is the path for me. Does anyone have any nice suggestions?
I would really like to have a job where it’s just Monday through Friday and I don’t have to work holidays or weekends. I know that’s asking a lot which is why I want out of nursing. I also don’t want people to shame me for not coming into work if I get sick.
I just would like to have a life outside of my job where my life isn’t just me living and breathing my job. I desperately need a career path where the stress is not always extremely high. I would like a job with minimal stress.
Please any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you
FYI I wish that I could live in a bus that I have fixed up and just create a blog and live off of that money ha ha Ha but I’m freaking dreaming ????????????

Have you considered clinic/office nursing? Case Management, telephone triage?
