Advise me about becoming a nurse in CA

Well, first you have to apply at the Board of Registered Nursing California. After the application is reviewed you will get a letter saying which other courses you have to take or if you have been granted to take the NCLEX right away. Good luck!!

Hi, my name is Ajita Gyawali. I have completed bachelor in nursing from Kathmandu University, Nepal. I have a nursing degree. But I don't have a nursing licence of Nepal. I won a DV lottery and got chance to came to California. Here I want to join a nursing profession but I am completely unknown about how to get entry in nursing profession. Shall I have to join equivalent courses? Which course I have to study. Can I join nursing profession?? Please show me the pathway. I am completely blank. I am very much interested in nursing field.
It will my great pleasure if you give me advice in this unknown city. I am helpless..

can any nepali nurses here in US tell me how long does took to get result of NCLEX- RN of CA. if it has been given from different state??

Hi Laita, I am trying to endorse my license to CA. I am in a situation and I think you might be able to help me figure this out. They sent me a letter that has "A copy of your clinical rotation schedule, registration forms and class schedule" listed as requirement. Did you have to send anything like that? did your school send it? what exactly are they? registration forms? Any information is appreciated. Thank you.
