Hey guys, I hope this is the right place to post this. I posted this also in reddit but I'd like as many second opinions as possible.
I was dismissed from my school's Nursing Program this semester for failing OB/Peds. I won't get into specifics on why, but I will say that it was a matter of me not studying properly and trying too hard to be independent in my studies. I live in New Jersey, and now that my final grades for this semester are up my cumulative GPA sits at a paltry 2.8. I intend to become a nurse and I feel that nursing is what I was meant to do.
At this point in time, I am trying a multitude of different things. I plan on getting my CNA to work over the summer, and I am looking at potential colleges that will accept a transfer for a student who was dismissed, but my search is proving fruitless so far. I need a college that is relatively close by and not too expensive (
Is there anything else that I can do? I highly doubt I can find a college that would accept someone in my current situation, or at least one that is within my means and budget. Please, any advice would mean a lot, I feel so overwhelmed and hopeless right now.

Welcome to AN, I see this you just joined and this is your first post. Well you admit that you did not study. Not sure what other options are. Many schools , both community college & BSN programs in my area also do not accept students that fail out of other programs but that does not mean there are not any programs that will. The for profit school certainly will, many have no prereqs and are happy to take your money. And it may be that even LPN programs might not accept you. Let's say you do get the LPN, you are still left with the programs that will not accept you due to the flunking out. You will have to submit your transcripts for all schools attended when you apply.
