  1. Hey guys, I hope this is the right place to post this. I posted this also in reddit but I'd like as many second opinions as possible. I was dismissed from my school's Nursing Program this semester for failing OB/Peds. I won't get into specifics on why, but I will say that it was a matter of me not studying properly and trying too hard to be independent in my studies. I live in New Jersey, and now that my final grades for this semester are up my cumulative GPA sits at a paltry 2.8. I intend to become a nurse and I feel that nursing is what I was meant to do. At this point in time, I am trying a multitude of different things. I plan on getting my CNA to work over the summer, and I am looking at potential colleges that will accept a transfer for a student who was dismissed, but my search is proving fruitless so far. I need a college that is relatively close by and not too expensive ( Is there anything else that I can do? I highly doubt I can find a college that would accept someone in my current situation, or at least one that is within my means and budget. Please, any advice would mean a lot, I feel so overwhelmed and hopeless right now.
