Hi All!
I am a new grad LVN and got my first nursing job at a little SNF and I'm really excited to gain experience. They have trained me as med nurse, treatment nurse, and case management. Med pass is ROUGH but I expect to be slow since I am new and am trying to improve. I am almost done orienting for all of my new roles and everyone keeps asking me if I'm overwhelmed or want to quit (we've recently lost a couple med nurses). Other than med pass (because there are 34 patients to pass meds on) I haven't been overwhelmed because I have someone with me training, but I'm scared when I'll be alone. Do any case managers, treatment nurses, ANY NURSES have any advice on balancing roles, responsibilities, or tips and trick for a smooth day (well as smooth as it can be in a snf ? )
Thank you!!

Are you an LVN in CA or TX? Scopes of practice are so different in those two states so expectations could differ as Well.
