NVC -CP- GC Tracker

World Immigration

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

thanks dhel!

hope wifey's process be as fast as yours.

especially now that the new visa bulletin is out and with a bleak prognosis.

we're praying hard that we still can take part of the 50K schedule A visas.

About an hour ago, I received an e-mail from USCIS, saying that my case has been approved and an approval notice has been mailed on September 16, 2005.

I know I still have more months of waiting to have an immigrant visa, but for now I'll say I got my left foot forward!!:) :) :p :p

leah,

'

see, i told you just wait. in fact, it was fast considering that they need additional documents.

you can expect the agent of choice letter with in a month or if the lawyer has already signified in your i-140 petition as the agent, then you will be receiving the visa fee bill.

:balloons: :balloons: congratulations!!!! :balloons: :balloons:

ray, i think i already signed the choice of agent, is it the form g-28?..i signed it in january together with form eta-750b..

it's a good thing i registered with uscis website to receive notifcations/updates thru e-mail about my case status:p . i texted their staff in manila to inform them that my i-140 was approved already, of course they dont know the latest about my case..i was the first one to know!!!:rotfl:

i want to ask all of you, is it time for me to register to the ca-brn for eligibility to sit for nclex?..

i am starting to review (on my own) suzanne's articles, and some review materials from presc that she left for me (thanks presc!!!)..

thank you to all of you!!!

leah

Definitely go ahead and register, it usually takes at least four months before you will hear anything from them. You still may want to go for initial licensure in another state, unless you are planning to take the exam when you arrive over here. It can take several weeks for you to get your results, with the others it is only a day or two, and can immedaitely be endorsed to California.

saunder's comprehensive review along with the articles is all that you will need.

Leah,

I think the CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER has really FAST TRACKED the Consular Processing. Just make sure your I-140 approval petition reaches the NVC. There are some cases that were reported to be missing or file was not received by NVC.

By the way do you have dependents? (spouse or kids?)

dale

California right now is about 6 months start to finish for those that are already over here. Those are the latest numbers form the attorneys here that I am in contact with. So it shouldn't be much different for those across the Pacific.:)

leah,

the form g-28 will automatically informed nvc that your agent of choice will be the one who filed your petition. that is your lawyer, you can expect him to receive the visa fee bill with in the month.
