How NE Georgia? I know you can't PM me yet - but if you are more east - ie Savannah area - let me know and I can condense a lot of information for you. If you are more North - like HalfBoiled says - go for BSN. I made a list of every school (ADN and BSN) and their pre-reqs and how they over-lapped and worked towards pre-reqs that would satisfy the most schools.
I'm in the Athens area! So I have Brenau, Piedmont, and Augusta University all within a reasonable distance. I am at Brenau atm, but after researching these boards and their pass/fail rate I am very hesitate to stay. I have my eye on Piedmont as of now, I'd love to see your list!!!
I had TCL and Savannah Tech available for 2 year schools. I also had MUSC, USC Beaufort and Armstrong (now GA Southern). I literally used a giant whiteboard and made a column for each school. Armstrong wouldn't accept any other schools Micro class - so that went under just Armstrong and then any other micro course would satisfy the rest of the schools.... I applied and was accepted to this school just for this course as well as patho (oddly they changed the pre-reqs when the flipped to GA Southern and I couldn't get the patho course in order to be accepted without another year delay).
Armstrong_____Sav Tech_____ TCL_____USCB______MUSC
Micro here ------------------ any 4 hour micro course ----------
---------------------------------------------- Nutrition -----------------
---------------------------- Human Growth & Development ------------
Looked something like that. Did that for every pre-req. USCB required a nutrition course that no one else required so it looked something like the above. Also, GA required the HESI and SC required the TEAS. I bought apps and studied both (but have actually taken neither because MUSC doesn't require it).
Eventually my only path appeared to be MUSC for a number of reasons. USCB would have taken another year to get into because of that stupid nutrition class and when it was offered, TCL required a pre-req for A&P and it would have taken longer to get into there too.
When it was all written down in front of me (and I used previous course schedules to get an idea if courses were offered every semester or only once a year) it helped me figure so much stuff out. It was also helpful to make another list if someone required a pre-req to a pre-req. I bought a 3ft by 4ft board at Hobby Lobby and its the best investment ever. I also have shower board I bought at Home Depot and it is cut into various size squares that I can tote around the house. I homeschooled my daughter and we had them car size and giant size (for when we played interlinking sudoku games - 5 puzzles that linked together).
It took some time to go through each schools documentation, but in the end it made my life so much easier. In the end - it actually left me with only 1 choice that made sense.

Hi Everyone!
I'm looking into programs right now and cannot figure out which route to go, I'd like to have my BSN eventually, and potentially MSN after that. I do see several bridge programs for that.
I have an A.A. in General Studies GPA 3.5
Have not taken any pre reqs yet(BIO or A&P's)
In Northeast GA area
Thinking of doing an ADN program, then bridge for BSN? But, then I think maybe I should just shoot for a BSN program right now?
Any advice would be appreciated!
