Advice for making myself more marketable??

Hi everyone!! I just passed the NCLEX and now I'm just waiting for my license number. Does anybody have any suggestions on making myself more marketable for the hospitals in NJ??? I live in Monmouth county so would prefer a hospital not too far from me. ANY ADVICE IS WELCOMED!!! Thanks so much!!!

What kind of work experience do you have? Have you ever done clinicals at the hospitals you want to work at? Do you know anyone who works at any of those places?

I worked as a PCT in a hospital about 45mins to an hour away from me so I was hoping to work some place closer. (hence another hospital) But I worked for about one year as a PCT med surg

I also did two externships in Peds but the hospital I did the externship in sadly isn't hiring anymore :(
