Anybody pls enlighten me on which hospital would be best for me, I'm choosing between Mt. Diablo Medical center in Concord which specializes on cardiology which I'm really interested to specialize, there's Contra Costa Regional Medical center in Martinez which sounds like a government hospital maybe with good benefits??(not sure abt that) and there's kaiser in Walnut creek. My husband is also a nurse and we're planning to move there from orange county. We're also planning to purchase a property there, we're choosing among Martinez, Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant hill, clayton, lafayette and benicia, what place can u recommend? Also, would travel nursing also be beneficial? Do you know of any nursing agencies that have placements in these three hospitals? Thank you so much, really appreciate ur inputs to these.

Hope you are independently wealthy if you plan to buy property in any of those areas, especially Lafayette. They are all very expensive places to live. Chances are you'll end up commuting from one of the surrounding burbs instead.

Thanks for your info, wish u could tell me more abt the area if u live here.
Thanks for your info, really appreciate! I am planning to get interviews on the three hospitals I mentioned, see who offers best not just monetary, also other benefits.
You're right Lafayette is a very expensive area, my first choice is actually Martinez, Benicia and Concord, currently contacting a realtor there. Hope gets a good choice coz living here in OC is as expensive there but the salary is lower.
