This is a little embarrassing...but here goes. I have zero libido as of late. Okay, maybe a year?? My interest has declined in the past year to the point that I just have to say no! I also have what's called Type 1 1/2 diabetes. My endo considers it very early Type 1. I have been on Lexapro since it came out on the market a few years ago.
I heard a gyn doc at work talk about testosterone treatment for women. Anyone have any insight or experience about this?

I'm not gonna give you any medical advice, but I worked for an ob/gyn who regularly prescribed testosterone cream to be applied to the lady parts (labia?) for women with low sex drives.
Don't remember the name of it....you could google it.

Know a doctor who prescribes testosterone cream for menopausal women with very good effect. Hormone levels determine the strength prescribed, and the amount used.

Please speak with your own practitioners about this. In your situation, it would probably be a good idea if your endo and your OB/GYN docs had a consult.
It's against the Terms of Service to ask for or give actual medical advice so this thread will now be closed.
