Hi everyone! I'm graduating in a few weeks with my BSN and will be taking my NCLEX very soon! This semester I ended up on a telemetry unit for my 180 hour internship and I loved it. I "worked" 7p-7a and spent any free time I could bugging the monitor tech to print me out strips to practice interpreting them. I was wondering if obtaining my ACLS or taking a basic EKG course would make a difference in getting a tele job? Or if there is any thing else that I'm unaware about that could help?
A basic EKG course or a basic arrhythmia course would be helpful. I cannot say if they would help getting a job. Nothing ventured, nothing gained though.
