For the last year and a half I have been taking nursing related classes... I have taken, English I and II, Humanities, A&P 1 and 2, Human growth and development, Intro to psych, Philosophy, Intro to chemistry, college algebra, statistics, Nutrition, Business computer, Microbiology and History... I have an A in all of them except Intro to psych which was a B... I have not taken the Hesi. I tend to bomb tests from being nervous. I know I will pass the Hesi, but I am wondering what I can do to be more favorable to get in... It is SO competitive here. I took a CNA class, but never got certified. I took it for experience. I also took a phlebotomy class, but I don't know if they look at that or not. What can I do! I really want to be accepted, but it seems only a certain type of high class people get accepted, and I am struggling and do not look high class in any way...

SIMPLE: apply at other schools. some require only 3.0. my school requires about a 3.2, but the program is hard as hell and their NCLEX pass rate is usually very near to 100% of the graduating class. Some schools have lousy NCLEX pass rates. My school is also way cheap compared to most (except for california residents, they have super low tuition rates in public schools, but very competitive). Consider though, despite what people say, its really tough for most new grads in nursing to find jobs these days. Hard to predict future trends for sure.

It sounds like you are on the right track! You should have a pretty good GPA as well. I just applied at our local cc and the biggest thing that helped me was the counselors, they were very helpful. They suggested things I could do to help me get a leg up.
Our program goes off of a points system and you get extra points for GPA and honors. My counselor suggested an honors course, I loved it! This time last year I was wondering if I ever would have a chance to get in - this year I should be at the top of the list.
The Hesi was not so bad either, I was nervous when I took it. Many of the people taking it with me were getting up and leaving, I was getting nervous thinking I was being too slow, but come to find out, they had failed a section. Take your time and invest in a study guide. The math was my worst part, I am not great at metric conversions and there were lots of those on there. There were alot of fractions on there too, but if you have had college algebra those should not be a problem!!
Good luck!!!
