I have a friend who would like to start nursing.
I know I am an RN already, but I started from scratch as the only thing I had was a medical assistant certificate that was not worth anything in regards to my college RN degree.
This friend would like to start nursing, and she has a bachelor's degree in business management, and a CNA certificate.
Can anyone tell me programs in south florida geared to people with the above credits? (besides UM because she cannot attend that full time) it would probably have to be part time.
thanks!

Accellerted programs are viable options for her at MDC FSU and u of f. I dont think her cna will relieve her of getting out of any credits though.
Sorry I did not realize she was looking strictly in south Fl. Thus accellerated option are not goo fit for her as they are full time. Thus, the only one that comes to mind is MDC which offers a generic part time that meets all day sat and then one night during week. Other option is to get LPN and then transition to RN. I know Mcfatter has part time LPN that meets from 3-10 and her cna might get her excused from core
thanks everyone. I will tell her about MDC. the part time option sounds good for her.
