Hello to all Florida nurses :)
I'm travelling to Florida next week and will be getting my employment contract from my future employer, Florida Hospital. I have no idea what to expect in terms of pay, benefits etc as an International employee. I asked at the interview but was told all the details would be written in the contract. Can anybody prepare me for what I should expect? Thanks in advance.
Tina :)

You should be getting the same salary that their other nurses are getting...You will be going with a green card which gives you permanent residency. All of your benefits should be the same as the regular staff...........just that usually you will sign a two year contract to work for them if they are paying your immigration costs............

All I can say is get any promises in writing. If you want anything changed have the changes made and signed off on as well before you sign anything.
