Adventist White Memorial New Grad RN Residency (March)

I wanted to start a thread for all those who were accepted into AHWM's New Grad RN residency program with the March start.

Yes I did ! Last minute on Sunday... but I think it went terribly ? ! I did not expect those questions at all & I answered all over the place !

I did it the day I received the message LOL, but it was nerve racking seeing the timer go down! Let's hope we hear something soon

Seriously ! the 30 second preparing time was like going so fast !! Yes, please keep me posted if you get any news and ill do the same !

Hey!! Is the start date for this program August 31, 2020?

Im not sure when the start date is and I don't see anywhere that has the official start date? But they have not done any interviews yet so I am guessing it will be later. Also my friend is currently in the March new grad program and she mentioned that they said it will be a September start but wasn't too specific on dates. Let me know if you hear/see anything !:)

Oh okay that’s interesting! On the job description at the end for White Memorial, if said you have any questions about the Glendale location New Grad program to contact so so and that the program started August 31st. I wasn’t sure if they were referring to the Glendale one or White Memorial? I emailed both point of contacts for both locations and I haven’t gotten a response. The job description for the Glendale one didn’t have a start date posted. So I was just extremely confused?

I think Glendale started their apps earlier (from what I saw on all the job postings) so they prob will start earlier? Not 100% sure tho ! But still have not heard anything from White Memorial & nothing changed on application for me either. I don't think they will be able to interview everyone in a few days the start date is prob later... Honestly, all these apps and dates are so confusing. Did you apply to both locations?

Yeah I applied to both locations but only White Memorial responded with the interview. My other application doesn’t look like it’s been looked at yet! I wish it much clearer! Did you apply to any other places? I’m trying to keep my options open because I’m not from CA!

Maybe they are still reviewing since I have been hearing a lot of applicants are applying for new grad programs ! I only applied to White Memorial. Then this week Dignity Health opened up a tele new grad and also USC Verdugo Hills. They are both in Glendale ! Thats all I applied to thus far.... Did you apply anywhere else ?

I applied to dignity as well! I didn’t apply to USC verdugo hills because it’s a bit farther away from where I’d like to be. But I applied to fountain valley regional, orange coast medical center, Cedars Sinai

For Orange Coast, which site did you use to apply? When I looked it up on their actual career page I don't see a "new grad" and when I Google it, it only pops up on random websites... Can you please direct me?

& WOW! you applied to quite a few already. I am trying to apply to as many as I qualify for. I haven't taken my NCLEX yet, so it is quite difficult

You have to go to MemorialCare careers and because they have multiple hospitals in the system, each job will say what location it’s for! On the side bar, you can filter it and there should be an option for new grad RN! I will attach a link for you! I was in the same boat as you because I was trying to get a job way earlier but I couldn’t qualify until I got my license at the end of July! Also I know they will have another job opening on August 24th for Saddleback!
