Members are discussing recent job offers for the MedSurge program at a Montebello location, with some waiting for responses after interviews at the LA location. There is anticipation and anxiety about when HR will provide updates, as well as questions about future new grad program openings. Some members share their experiences with interviews and offers, while others inquire about different hospital programs and application statuses.
Hello everyone! I am starting a forum for adventist health and the cohort is starting on March 2025. The LA location White Memorial or the Montebello location! Good luck everyone!

Yes, they said we would hear back by the end of last week. Seems like they had very few positions available in the units they were offering. I interviewed last Tuesday for Tele and NICU and received a call Thursday and was offered NICU at their LA location to start 3/31. I never heard anything from Tele though. Best of luck to everyone! For those who were offered a job, let me know so we can try to link up.
Congratulations! Can you share a little about what questions they asked you during your interview for NICU?
Hey yes,
They seem to ask general questions for RN New Grad positions. They interview people all day, back to back, so they don't all have time to look at your resume. The first question was tell me about yourself. I think the nursing manager was happy with how I incorporated a work-life balance, as I brought up exercising as a stress reliever (shows balance). Other questions: Tell me about a stressful situation and how you handled it. Tell me a time you failed (this caught me off guard). If we asked your current employer how your attendance is, what would they say? They did not ask technical questions related to the unit, which was a relief. Asked about being okay with working night shift. For Tele, she asked which unit was my first preference, and I was honest and I said NICU.

Hello! Congrats again on such an amazing achievement and thank you for your tips!! How are you liking the new grad program so far in the NICU? Also for interviews was it all at a hiring event or they contacted you from online applications (and if so which locations)? Thank you for all your insight!!
