Hello, Did anyone apply or are presently doing MSN-FNP at AdventHealth University (AHU) in Orlando or Denver?

Is it worth the MSN at this AHU?

What is the accredition....where else(states) can u work if u graduate from AHU?

Any insights would be greatly help, thx.

Specializes in FNP.

I applied in Orlando. I have not heard anything yet, I would like some information also if anyone knows.

I am applying or the Fall start- I just missed the deadline for Summer. Do you know any reviews for this program? I am a current employee of Advent Health and know a lot of nurses who did their BSN there, but I did not even know they had an FNP program.

I applied for the Fall. I’m hoping to find out more. Looks like they are in process of accreditation by the CCNE. So we shall see. The admissions coordinator told me they place students with preceptors who live in Central Florida. So that was a huge plus for me. Still waiting to hear back.

I applied but did not get in which was a blessing because, I did get acceptaed into the University of Alabama which was my first choice.

Yeah, I wonder about the acceptance process. I could finish up my program at University of South Alabama. But I don’t think I could go through the pain of trying to find preceptors. It’s just way too difficult.

True that is why I chose to apply. They told me the process and acceptance rate has gotten harder. Good Luck

Good luck everyone

Anyone know how soon you find out a decision after applying? I applied for the fall 2020 start.

I applied in April and finished the process in May. Still haven’t heard back. The admissions counselor told me the decisions would be sent out by 6/30 at the latest. I’m kinda put off by the lack of feedback from the admissions counselor throughout the entire process. Other places I’ve applied, I get feedback right away. Oh well.

I agree- I have another offer at another school and they want a decision by Monday June 22nd. Id rather AHU since its local and they find preceptors for you, the other one is out of state. I asked the admissions counselor yesterday and he said not to reject their offer yet, but he is hoping decisions are given this week. I also am curious when they will find out if they are CCNE accredited, their review was last year and the board met in May, so I'm hoping it went through.

They got the CCNE accredition I think, check with them
