I copied this from the interview invite email, basically the beginning says the committee knows we are familiar with devices, drips, vented patients and what not and then says this

“Therefore, it is highly suggested that you be prepared to answer clinical questions related to nursing care in the critical care arena. However, it is difficult to determine in advance the exact questions that will be asked by the committee members, and it is anticipated that the interview will be brief”

I’m assuming this means mostly clinical, not sure how in depth they go though since it’s only 15 minutes

Basically if you bring up a type of patient you see on a daily basis or certain drugs/pathology you see when you work then be prepared to answer questions about it.

Congrats to all of you.  The hours they require in your clinical rotations are very light and out early so that is one plus from this program I guess.

Can anyone give any details on the ANES 500 class? Was it difficult, how were the tests?

also how are you enjoying the program at advent health?

The class isn't hard, but you'll be teaching yourself the material. I got an A

Specializes in HFICU.

Hello! I interviewed last week and I’m wondering if anyone can give any insight on the program? Whether they like it and would choose this program again?

The program is not easy and the amount of material you are given to study is A LOT. This program requires 100% of your efforts in order to be successful.

However, I do believe this program prepares you to be a competent Anesthesia provider when you graduate.

Also good luck! If you get waitlisted don't let it get to you. I think almost all of the people in my cohort that was waitlisted got in.

Hi! Congratulations! Can I ask about your stats? GPA, ICU experience, certifications, anything else that made you stand apart? What do you think about the program?? Thank you!
