The University of Miami's Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) curriculum is used by both EMS and hospitals across the United States, in Mexico and Hong Kong. At least 23 hospitals have started an in-house ASLS training program just since the beginning of the year. Please visit www.asls.net or our center's regular website at www.gcrme.med.miami.edu for information about ASLS and our other educational programs, or send an e-mail to [email protected].
There is currently no online version of the Advanced Stroke Life Support® course, but there are registered ASLS® training centers located throughout the country. Email [email protected] to inquire if there is an opportunity to take part in a hands-on version of the 8-hour provider course near you.

I work in a 20 bed Neuro ICU. Our Quality Outcomes Manager came across this Advanced Stroke Life Support training from our EMS contact. We are a TJC certified stroke center now, has anyone heard of or completed this training? I did a search and it seems like it is more for EMS training, not acute care. Just wondered if anyone has any experience and what do you think of it.
