Adult Health 1

Published

So everybody knows it... the dreaded Adult Health 1 course. Any tips, suggestions, or any words of advice to keep me sane and alive through this class? All help is appreciated :) Can't seem to find my footing yet in this class.

Specializes in Med Surg, PCU, Travel.

The amount of information in this course is phenomenal. I hate to say it but the only way to do good is to read the dreaded long chapters. Also do as much questions as possible at the back of the chapters or study guide and if you have not already use your nclex textbook to get quick outlines on topics in class if you really can't keep up with the readings. Its an extremely time consuming course.

I live by my Saunders NCLEX and Med Surg Success workbooks. I read the information the teacher provides & then practice questions in my workbooks before a test.

Specializes in ICU.

Is this the same as med/surg? I'm taking it now and it is a lot of info. I just go week by week and try to absorb as much as I can. We just finished cardiac and are now into muscoskeletal and skin. I honestly like the class but it is hard.
