There are 10 students in my clinical nursing class, and one guy keeps teasing me whenever i do something wrong in class. He tries to use his charm to get answers from the smart girls in the class. I am starting to lose my patience with him, and i told him that he was a effing nerd (but he really isnt), and I called him out for cheating b/c he was getting hw answers from other students. Why do the girls like to help this kid, and why doesn't he leave me alone? I'm not an easy target b/c i can get rude as well.

You can start by not lowering yourself to his level by engaging in name calling and "getting rude" as well. He probably enjoys this and will continue to do so until you start behaving like an adult.

I completely agree. This goes back to grade school: he'll keep doing it because he knows he's getting a rise out of you. His behavior is completely unprofessional and it'll catch up to him. Now if he crosses the line, or you feel threatened at any point, then you need to bring up the issue to your professor.

Agree. He can probably see that he's getting to you and he enjoys it. Just stay calm and look him right in the eye. A strong look is better than any snarky quip. I'm a fan of saying something back, but that can sometimes just dig you into a bigger hole.
As for the other girls, I'm guessing they're all young and he is at least fairly good looking. They'll let him do anything because they're happy to have his attention even if he's only using them.
In the end you just have to disengage from the BS and focus on what you're doing, even when everyone else is being obnoxious.

Oh, be very helpful. And feed him all of the wrong answers. Whenever he asks you for an answer, you tell him BS. With a straight face, or a smile. It will annoy him, because it wastes his time. Passive aggressive. lol

Or you could just tell him no and not contribute to the drama.
