Hello, first time posting a topic on here... anyone applying to Adventist University for summer 2019 start? Still early, I know, but seeking the comradery as all the other previous threads. Looking forward to hearing from any of you!

Wow, that's really good... I didn't do as well as I would have liked, I felt like it was harder than I thought simply bc you are racing against the clock.

time is definitely a factor. it's alright though because you can always retake it. i think the kaplan book helped me tremendously with time management throughout the exam because it taught me tips and tricks on getting the best score possible. if you plan on taking the GRE again maybe use a prep book like magoosh or kaplan to help you out

Yeah, I used manhattan prep test bank and a couple supplemental math books since that's not necessarily my strength. Ironically it was my verbal score that I was more disappointed in, probably as a result of my focus on the quant. But I will probably retake dependent on how my first app goes, focus being on the CCRN right now of course.

I applied as well for 2019 start.Does anyone know how we get notified for interviews?Emails or phone calls?I work nights and my phone is usually on silence when i am asleep. Also now that application deadline is up, does anyone know how long before they start contacting us for interviews if we get selected? My GRE scores are not good. Overall GRE score is 277, analytical 4. GPA 3.7, and i also have my CCRN. Shadowed CRNA twice at FH south. Very very nervous. Thanks guys and goodluck to us.

hi! most likely email...just a guess since i submitted the app a month before their deadline and they contacted me via email to give me an update stating the application was complete and they had everything and would review it starting july 1st. should be a few more weeks before i hear back depending on how many people applied before the deadline.

Thank you..I got that email too.

Hi CVICU, as I've looked into it more I don't think that they weigh the GRE as heavily as other programs but don't quote me on that of course, that's just what I've heard.

May I ask how much experience you have? Your other stats are solid !

Hi Remi28, I have worked in CVICU for 3 years. Hoping it will make my application look good and help me too.Fingers crossed.Thank you

Wow! Yeah, that's great experience :)

Hey! I have applied. But I have not heard anything back yet. Just worried. Been checking my emails. Anyone else still waiting for the email?

Waiting and checking emails too.Not sure they start contacting applicants this soon though..Goodluck to us.
