Hi Everyone, fellow applicant here. congratulations to those who were accepted. i know this thread is older but i wanted to hear back from a few of you who interviewed to maybe get some perspective on the interview itself (questions asked if you remember any, length of interview and if it was more clinical based or personal based) for anyone who accepted a seat i'd love to hear from you on how well you believe the program is doing in terms of helping you understand clinical concepts and transition from the classroom to the clinical environment. any and all advice or feedback (positive or negative) is welcomed and appreciated. thank you in advance. you can private message me if you feel more comfortable

anyone have any good links on previous cohort interview questions? i was told the interview will be 15 min long and i will have to show up two hours before my scheduled time to fill out paperwork and take a 50 min proctored computerized test. She couldn't tell me what the test would be on. just mentioned it's nothing i could study for.

Just received my invitations to interview email and scheduled my interview for august! everyone should be hearing back soon. this week they are sending out invites. í ½í¸Š

hi! most likely email...just a guess since i submitted the app a month before their deadline and they contacted me via email to give me an update stating the application was complete and they had everything and would review it starting july 1st. should be a few more weeks before i hear back depending on how many people applied before the deadline.

time is definitely a factor. it's alright though because you can always retake it. i think the kaplan book helped me tremendously with time management throughout the exam because it taught me tips and tricks on getting the best score possible. if you plan on taking the GRE again maybe use a prep book like magoosh or kaplan to help you out

i took it in november if last year...did fairly well for a first timer. it's more of a logic test than anything else. i got a 4.5 on the writing and something along the lines of 305-310 for my total score. i bought a kaplan book from amazon and went through the entire 2000+ pages on my own. i would say it helped. have you taken yours yet?

No but i have family in georgia. not sure about my top choice. every school has its pros and cons. Emory just started their CRNA program less than 2 years ago without a graduated class as of yet but it has state of the art simulators and the program is held to higher standards because it's so new. the class size is limited to a max of 15 making it more individualized. ADU has better clinical hours in the central florida area and Barry is the longest standing program of the three and has been very successful with their first time board pass rates but has a monstrous clinical schedule with little to no predictability from week to week. it's also the only one in central florida to rotate through a level 1 trauma hospital. so much to consider...not quite sure yet.

I'm applying to Barry and Emory in georgia. If you apply early for barry you will most likely interview early as well and know if you are accepted or not. i believe barry is set to open their application in july

currently going into my 3rd year working as an RN. I started out in an ICU as nursing was a career transition for me. I would definitely focus more on the CCRN as everything else isn't as highly regarded or can be obtained right before the start of the program. what other schools did you apply to

fortunately i have all my documents together. i am just trying to submit it all to nursing cas. I still need to take my CCRN certification exam since it seems like most school either encourage or require it. is ADU your first choice? what are you working on now for you application?

hi everyone! I am currently a nursing student in an accelerated second degree bsn program and I have been selected as a nurse corps scholarship recipient. although nervous about my job opportunities post graduation, I accepted the scholarship since it would decrease my financial burden significantly. I am writing this post in the hopes of hearing back from previous nurse corps recipients. some questions I have are how easy was it to find a job? how long did you look for a job? and did you have to move a significant distance away from where you were to get a job? any help would be much appreciated. thank you!

hi everyone....just saw this post and figured id drop a comment to maybe calm some of the nerves since ive been on edge also ever since ive applied. i got my credit checked 7/27 and just received an email stating that im a finalist and must upload the documents they require and accept the award! very exciting...for those of you with a credit check its usually a good sign!! so do not worry unless you have outstanding federal debt for which you have gone into default (i.e. previous student loans) my stats GPA- 3.5 overall; sciences 3.9 originally applied while living in NYC and moved down to florida to attend remington college of nursing some community service; 5+ years of experience working in under served communities and medical offices submitted the application on 4/24 enrolled in an accelerated nursing program for 12 months and requested 1 yr of funding efc- 0 good luck to those who are still waiting!
