ADN Vs. BSN

Published

I am fixing to start my first semester of the ADN program and was wondering what (other than the amount of school) is different about the BSN??? Do you need a BSN to do some jobs?? Do you get paid more?? Anyone know?

This is what I am looking into I really want to get my NP. But first I have to finish my ADN I am so excited to start in August!

Good Luck! :balloons:

I also suggest you get a few years experience before going for your NP. There are programs that will admit with little or no experience. How good the education is and how good an NP you will turn out to be is questionable.

Thanks for the advice I am definately going to work for a few years before going back to school 1) I need to save some more money for school LOL! 2) I want the experience so that I will be better prepared for the NP and 3) I want to make sure that is really what I want before I commit to all that school but for now I am working on my ADN and getting my prereq's out of the way for the NP.
