A lot of discussions about this on the CO forum. Look for posts where people ask about the job market and likelihood of finding a job. Short answer to your question is to go for the BSN.
A variation on the "go for the BSN"theme is this; but of course, only you know what's best for you:
Go for the AD, ideally get your first job in a hospital that offers tuition assistance and let the hospital pay your way.
This benefit is worth a ton of money.
Under this plan you can work, learn the trade, make some money and since you live in Colorado, ski down a mountain laughing like the idiot you are not because you saved so much money.

Hi!
this is my first time posting on this forum. I am pursuing my nursing degree and am starting Spring 2017. I am doing my pre-reqs at my local community college. I was just faced with the question wether I should go for my BSN or do my ADN?
Im currently a medical assistant a the community hospital and work full time.
I know there's topics like this within the website, but does anybody have any insight on nursing in Colorado? Or just in general of what is most worth it to me.
