I am an ADN RN, I am a fresh grad with no experience and I don't speak Spanish but very friendly with Spanish speakers.
I am actively seeking employment in Northern NJ. I have applied to more than 100 nursing homes and hospitals since i was licensed 4wks ago. So far I have had 5 interviews; 1 hospital, 2 agencies, and 2 adult day cares.
I have been a CNA for more than 3 yrs and my employer wants me to continue to work as CNA, my Administrator and DON even called me at home when I resigned to encourage me to keep coming to work as CNA till I get a job, they couldn't offer me RN position because they have exhausted their budget for the year and no vacancies.
I really need help, if anyone knows where I could try for job. I have 2 kids and my wife just started her Nursing school as well.

I just got through reading yet another article (NBC NEWS) about the severe nursing shortage. It was posted today. I don't know where they keep coming up with this nursing shortage thing; we are so over-saturated with new grad nurses now.
To God be the glory, I got a job on Tue morning. I had gone in to follow up on my application to the facility and i was interviewed and offered a full time rotating shift immediately. God is so faithful, His faithfulness are new every morning. Thanks!
