Well the time has finally come. I've been looking through the syllabus and reading ahead. I'm excited but nervous. I've worked as a CNA for 6 years so I know I can handle it. I just feel like I'm going to be in boot camp for two years. Maybe I'm just blowing it up, right? Anyways, I will survive. Just wanted to share with you guys. I'll tell you how it goes. By the way they said that we can wear white tennis shoes. Do you guys have any advice about good support shoes?? thanks. I'll post later to tell you about orientation. Bye

I hope your orientation is more useful than mine was. We did the "everyone stand up and tell us about yourself". We then saw a few videos. We went over the resource manual (hello, I can read). They did have some very useful information, but I would have liked just the straight information instead of 4 hours of this kind of thing...

And with the shoes, I use Reebok Princess Aerobic shoes. I got them at the Reebok store for $26.99 with the 2nd pair half off. They are a classic, in that they are so good they have been around forever! They don't slip on the floor, and have nice padding inside.
