I did this in Mississippi. The BSN program at South Alabama is a good program and is online. I was able to do this working full time and it takes 2 semesters with 1 summer. For Mississippi, the out of state tuition was waived (you'll need to check for Georgia) and they were understanding and helpful (during hurricane Katrina). I then went to a program in state that met every Monday, and clinical arranged by me to fit my schedule. This took 2 semesters and a summer. Total time, I went from a banker to a FNP in 4 years. Grants help, tuition is worth it, and the online was not bad at all. I worked full time except my last semester in NP school.
I am in the ADN to MSN-FNP Bridge Program here and would HIGHLY reccomend it. It have been very comprehensive and I fell mor eprepared everyday for future practice.

Yes it is. You do have to attend 2 one week on campus experiences but other than that you don't have to travel at all.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond.
I am currently an ADN and wish to become an NP. I live in GA and would either be looking to A) pursue college online (have taken independ study/online and enjoyed) or B) go to a school here in GA. Has anyone here bridged from ADN to MSN/NP or do you have a program to recommend? My eyes are crossing with following all of the prereq's and timelines. Like most folks, I want a great education for a reasonable amount of money (single parent, no child support) and I want it as quickly as possible! lol...
Any advice/direction would be so appreciated.
