Hi All,
I recently enrolled at Walden, I am taking the RN track for a MSN as a nursing educator. I wanted to know if anyone knows or has experienced any problems getting a teaching job with only MSN and not BSN-MSN behind their name.
I just wanted to make sure that this track won't hinder acquiring a job as an educator.
I am very excited about the thought I can achieve a MSN degree so quickly.
I have also read alot of good reviews about Walden, any advise will be gladly appreciated.
Thanks!

I did the same thing through Walden. I teach in an ADN program now! They took my degree - no questions asked.

as long as the school is recongized by your BON you should not have any problems. You might ask Walden to verify an agreeement with your state. We have several Walden grads in our facility

I am currently enrolled in Walden, RN to MSN, education track. I was hoping to chat with someone online about what their experiences were!! Anyone want to share??
I have found statistics online to be very difficult...but the foundations class for the master's is going quite well.
Scanety I would be happy to talk to you about it. I am in Texas- central time. Here is my email so we can talk.

Hi
I am enrolled in Walden also. In fact I just completed my last class in the Nursing Education track. All I have left is my practicum. I will be starting that later this year due to health issues. I throughly enjoyed my Walden experience. everything that you learn is based on your previous experience. If you want just private message me and ask any questions you may have.
