ADN at community college , how does it work?

Published

ok frst of all excuse my English, is my second language . I'm interested in pursuing an ADN through wake tech community college but im very confused as how to get started. today I went to take the ESL accuplacer test and it prompted me to take the real one at least on the reading and grammar part and I tested out whatever that means, now I think I just have to go back and take the math portion. besides a GED that I got like 8 years ago I don't have any other schooling done here in the US , I don't understand how the point system to get into the program works and what courses I would have to take to earn points given my lack of schooling done here. also did I earn any points by testing out on the english part of accuplacer? is anyone familiar with the point system and specifically with wake tech nursing program? can someone explain me step by step what do I need to do.I know I can get answers attending an info session but I would like to get an idea of what to look forward . thanks in advance.

Go to the info session & talk to an advisor. That would be probably be much more accurate than asking strangers on a forum.

Good luck to you.

Every school has different criteria. You need to direct these questions toward the school. As far as "testing out," why don't you ask the people who administered the test?
