Admission/Acceptance to Georgia Regents/Georgia Health Sciences

Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!

I got into Athens with a 3.76 gpa and an 86 on the teas (I think that's 97th %) I am married with 3 kids so I do think they may take that into consideration when making placements. I'm sorry you didn't get your into Athens but congratulations on acceptance to Augusta!

I cannot remember if I put anything in my essay about being a single mother, there is NO way I'd be able to move to Augusta. I definitely put "Athens only" but it sounds like that really doesn't matter. I just emailed them as one more "hail mary". This has been so very frustrating and nerve-wracking. Is there anyone out there willing to share if they have gotten a letter NOT being accepted??

I wonder if the admission committee went over the applications during this break.

They probably went through the applications, but since the systems were down they could not get in the system to make any changes. They are just able to get in the systems today just life all of us. Hopefully now that the system is back up then they can start changing the application status!

Also, their spring break is coming up too. Can't they just call us and let us know. This is ridiculous.

Yes, the students spring break is next week. That doesn't mean that the faculty will be off. I'm pretty sure they will still be working.

The system did just come back up today so maybe they haven't put in the change but it is coming. Mine did not change until around two or three in the afternoon too!
