Admin Announcement Regarding Sharing News Articles

We have noticed an increase in posts that are copying and pasting content from news articles. Please be aware that many news outlets view this as a copyright violation. Many are now inserting text to that effect when content is copied and pasted. 

When sharing a news article with Allnurses members, please provide a link and a brief summary of the article. Please do not include the text of the article. 

We understand that this may be an issue with reading some of the articles that require a subscription or use of a gifted article link, but this keeps members within the Terms of Service for this site (No sharing of copyrighted material) and respects the copyright policies of the news outlet.
