Acute care nursing in Boston for experienced nurse?

Hi all,

I’ve been thinking about moving to Boston, much more so now that my s.o. is moving there for school. I am aware the Boston area is saturated with nurses, and all the Harvard-affiliated hospitals are so hard to get into if you don’t have any connections. So, I’m just curious if any of you know any hospital that is a tad bit easier to obtain a job from. A little background of me, I have my BSN and 2 years of experience in inpatient oncology in large teaching hospital at my home state. I also just put in my RN endorsement application for MA so hopefully it will be done in the next month or so. I’d prefer to do inpatient onc/bone marrow transplants in Boston but I can do regular med-surg.

Thanks all!

I actually got a job a few weeks ago! I didn’t think I did anything differently as I was applying, but I did receive 2 job offers at Brigham and Women’s, and another offer from MGH. I meant to delete this thread after I accepted the position but I just don’t know how ?
