I got a call for an assignment from this company. Their website is not very good and they do have some posts on the Delpi Forums traveler website needing staff for various work but I cannot find any nurse who has worked with them. I doubt anyone here has either but thought I would toss it out?

Sorry, I can not give you first hand advice either. I can say I have never heard of them but that does not mean a whole lot; they might be specific to your local area.

If the offer is attractive, you may want to ask how long they have been in business etc. They may have a "former name" of their business that you could ask around about. It is my opinion, that the recruiter is often key to the success of a contract; see if you can talk with him/her and get their name and who they have been with, how long have they done this type of job, and if they "sound" right.

Yuo can always check with the State Governing the Corporation and check them out that way too.

I did find out the company is only a few years old..........I am wondering if they mostly do strike nursing. This is for a school of nursing in Ohio. I don't know of any that are or would be on a strike?

I have not heard of this company but it does not mean they cannot get you a good job. I have been checking into travel nursing myself. I checked with American Mobile and Medical Express. They both have websites. The only thing holding me back is that I will have to fly home to see my husband. He never tells me not to do something but is not keen on the idea . . . I hear travel nursing is a great way to rekindle your career and learn more. I have a sister in N.C. and a sister in Florida and would travel to either of those two states. I am also considering working in Columbus three days in a row and then driving home to see my husband on the four days off. I usually do not see him for a few days now because I work nights. Traveling is a great way to earn money and I want to pay off bills so I can submit my application to CRNA school next Winter for July/August 2006.

Does anyone have experience with travel nursing who can give me some input or pointers? :p

If you are interested in travel nursing, you might want to check out Healthcare Traveler Magazine...probably could find it with a google search. I'm a student, and I subscribed for free...they have all kinds of articles on the traveling lifestyle, with ads from a variety of travel nursing agencies. Pretty good source of info....I'm just dreaming until I graduate... :-)

Darned if I cannot find anything in the magazine about this company.....I ended up turning down the assignment/labor dispute.
