Does anyone know the difference between a CNP(certified nurse practitioner) and a CNS(certified nurse specialist)? thanks!

CNS stands for clinical nurse specialist, and there are older threads here discussing the difference between NPs and CNSs. I'm sure it would be easy to find them with the "search" function.

To nitpick: neither of those are acronyms, as they cannot be pronounced as words themselves.
Thanks for the responses. Since I am new (this was my first posted question) I'll research it myself since I still didn't get an answer to my question.
