Okay. I am not great at math. I was kicked out of my house when I was super young and I had to drop out of school.
I took an accuplacer without trying and did super well in english and tested into pre-algebra.
After 3 weeks of Khan Academy, I'm feeling pretty comfortable with pre algebra and a sem-comfy with most of the elementary algebra practice tests I've found.
I'm retaking the accuplacer on Thursday to see if I can test into elementary algebra.
So here's my question~
If I get 99% of the pre algebra questions right and maybe 50% of the elementary algebra questions right, would I be placed in pre algebra or elementary algebra, do you think?
To me it makes sense that I'd get into elementary algebra if I'm already super comfortable with pre algebra. But I dunno. I know it doesn't make a difference now because it's Tuesday night and I only have tomorrow to study anyway, but I like to sort of go into things with some type of reassuring/moderately low expectation. It helps my anxiety.
