Accomodation in London. Help

World International

Published

I am a student in the US but I am a registered child branch nurse :nurse: in England (I am British, by the way). Over the summer I intend to go back home to keep up my registration. But I have no idea where I should stay. I am somewhat strapped for cash and I need to make as much money as possible to further my schooling, but I fear I will use all my earnings on accommodation. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.:bowingpurI will be working in East London.

Thanks

Try finding work with an agency they will often through in accomindation as well or working for a kids summer camp uk they often chuck in accomindation and food or may be a residential home for sick kids - good luck.

you could look at a professional house share. you'd pay about £300- 350 per month for your room & have shared kitchen & bathroom facilities. many areas around the bigger london hospitals have such accomodation. check out local papers - many of them publish on-line. the gaurdian independent series covers most of east london - here's a link that may help you get started:

a house-share is a really good idea. theres lots of websites that are updated daily. this is a good one http://uk.easyroommate.com/index.aspx?gclid=CPPx6IS9wpECFQFZQgodAX4ZCw. Does the hospital have any nurses accomodation? might be worth checking just in case.

what are you studying in the US?
