Accomadations following license suspension

I am new to this blog but have been following it from the side lines and find it very informative. Briefly my issue: I was a Nurse Practitioner for the VA (Pittsburgh) and was fired because my license was suspended due to a violation of my contract with the State of Pennsylvania. I was in the VRP of Pennsylvania. When my employer received a letter from the state they fired me immediately. Three days before Christmas. My question: under the ADA is my former employer obligated to offer accomadation ie nursing assistant job or a job which does not require licensure. Any advise is welcom!

This question sounds like something you honestly need to ask a lawyer about. But I can tell you that a Nursing Assistant is Certified by most states if not all states. Hope this helps.
