Access Travel Agency

Published

I just had a phone conversation with a represenative from this agency. Health insurance, BCBC, does not start until the month after starting your job. We discused the option of picking up COBRA for that month and he hinted at a cost of $600.00 a month, which "perhaps" the agency could "help out". Further into the conversation this "helping out" would come out of your pay. Conversation was very vague on his part.

Also we discussed pay for California. This is for NICU, including both southern and northern California and the highest pay he showed on his computer was $33.22 for a "complete package".

I have never travled before, but because of places like this, have some knowledge of what to ask about. Am waiting to see a package from Bridge Staffing which they are going to mail. The recruiters name is Darlene. She said they have approximently 100 nurses working for them. Anyone here?

Back to Access, does anyone here travel for them?

Thank you, :coollook:

Never heard of them, but how complete is their package?

Do you have to share an apt? Do they fly you out or do you hae to dirve your own car out and get reimbursed? Do they provide dishes as well as linens or just th basic furniture? Do you get paid weekly or every two weeks? Do they pay for all of your utilities?

These are things that you also need to look into..............

Have you tried to search on delphi forums for travel nurse clubs? Alot more information there.
