Think I am going to accept a position at a SNF which is next door and a division of the personal care home I work as a Assistant Director of nursing. It pays 19k more a yr and no on call no weekends no holidays. Have to give 4 week notice.

Is congrats in order? Or are you trying to ask a question? Also, are you going to be the CM for the SNF as the ADON?

I will be the CM. I am currently a ADON in a personal care home. Get stuck covering call offs a lot and not paid for it. Every date I want to take off my DON has something she wants to do so I get stuck again. And she takes a lot of 3-4 day weekends. No one says anything cause they don't care. I would be stupid not to take it. I know it will be stressful but at least no 3am questions or issues, no 6 day work weeks.

Lately (this past year) I have been asked to apply for multiple open management positions multiple times... I have declined every time for the very reasons you have noted in your post. What is worse, where I work I would also have to work OT (without additional pay, which is illegal even for salaried employees) and I would have to join committees to represent my department and not receive any additional pay.... As a Case Manager I get paid for every bit of work I do and am not made to work or fake-volunteer for anything that I do not want to do.

Congrats on landing the CM position and good luck. Yes, it is stressful, but at the end of the day you get to go home and leave work-at-work. Good luck.
