Accepted into Grossmont College 2012

Published

I just got my acceptance email from Grossmont College Schoool of Nursing for Spring, 2012!!! I can't believe it, it literally brought me to tears that after all my hard work I've been accepted into the first of the six programs I applied for.

Today is the best day of my life.

Thanx for the tips!!! I'm still waiting to hear from Cal State Long Beach, and if I get in there, then I get to stay in my home! However, it's nice to know that I have a nursing school to go to in January!

When will you know if you got into CSULB? I believe we have to submit our letters of acceptance to Grossmont's Nursing Program by September 28th.

Yes in less than two weeks...csulb not until end of October.

nic,

el cajon/east county is not the greatest place to live, it's kind of trashy (moved here in feb). but areas right around campus (san carlos, fletcher hills, del cerro) are nice, but they're mostly homes and expensive apt complexes. Transportation to campus is pretty much car only, they have 2 buses but it would take forever, and the trolley doesn't go straight to campus.

thanx ehays... that's very helpful... What about La Mesa or Santee? They look pretty affordable, but I'm trying to stay away from trashy..lol... I really appreciate the information... I sent in my acceptance form today, so I'm trying to get a jump on everything...

Nic, I sent my acceptance letter today as well. I hope to see you at orientation:)

AntRo, as it turns out, I just got an acceptance letter into CSU Channel Islands BSN program at Cottage Hospital in Goleta, so I let Grossmont know that I will not be attending. I really wanted to get a BSN if given a chance, and I have... so I'm going to take it. Congrats to the person who is first on the waiting list, because I just gave you my spot! Good luck to all of you at Grossmont!!!

Have any of you started the check-off list for the physical, immunizations, etc?! I'm so grateful that we're able to start in Spring!

I'm curious how many points towards admission you each estimate you had at the time of application. Thanks!

I never received a confirmation of my total points awarded, but by my calculations I had 86 points. I ended up turning down the offer from Grossmont and accepted an offer from USD. I hope this helps.

Just got the email - didn't make the cut for Grossmont's RN program. I'm not that shocked. I am thrilled to be starting a different program this August instead!

Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me how many points you had
